Hello, I'm Anastasia.

I'm Anastasia Lioliou, a biologist holding a PhD in Molecular Biology from King's College London. With over 12 years of teaching experience, I'm passionate about helping students not only achieve top grades but truly understand and appreciate the fascinating world of biology.

What subjects and curricula do you cover?
I specialize in IB Biology (SL & HL), IB ESS, A-Level Biology (Edexcel IAL & Cambridge 9701), IGCSE Biology (Edexcel & Cambridge Core/Extended), SAT Biology, IMAT, and university-level Biology including Molecular Biology, Genetics, Physiology, Biochemistry, and Cell Biology.
Do you offer online lessons?
Yes! I offer fully interactive online lessons via Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Online sessions are just as effective as in-person, with screen sharing and digital resources. The rate is the same: €40/hour for school-level and €50/hour for university-level.
How much do lessons cost?
School-level lessons (IB, A-Level, IGCSE, SAT) are €40 per hour. University-level lessons (Physiology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, etc.) are €50 per hour. I offer discounts for siblings, groups, and large families. Pricing is also negotiable based on the number of hours booked.
Where do in-person lessons take place?
I cover the entire greater Athens area (Attica) — over 160 areas. I can come to your location, or you can visit me in Marousi. Online lessons are also available for students anywhere in the world.
Can you help with the Internal Assessment (IA)?
Absolutely! I provide comprehensive IA coaching including topic selection, research question development, methodology guidance, data analysis, and write-up review. The IA is worth 20% of your final IB grade, so expert guidance makes a significant difference.
What is your experience with international school students?
I have 12+ years of experience working with students from Athens' top international schools including Moraitis, St. Catherine's, Campion, St. Lawrence College, American College-Pierce, Byron College, ISA, Arsakeio, Platon, Ursulines, and the German School of Athens.
